The things restaurant owners ask
Do I still pay commission on orders?
No. The ordering system runs on your own website, so there is no marketplace commission on any order. You still pay standard card processing fees on card payments, exactly as you would anywhere else.
Do I have to leave Just Eat or Uber Eats?
No, and most places don't at first. The marketplaces are good at bringing you brand-new customers; your own app is where the regulars reorder without costing you a cut. Over time you decide the balance — many owners nudge repeat customers across with a leaflet in the bag.
How do orders reach the kitchen?
They print automatically on an Android order terminal with an audible alert, and appear in the admin panel on any device. Nothing depends on someone watching an inbox during a rush.
Can customers pay online?
Yes — card online, or cash and card on collection and delivery. You choose which options are available, and you can change it later yourself.
Is there a monthly fee?
The build is a one-off price and the system is yours. Hosting and card processing are the only running costs. An optional care plan is available if you'd rather I handled updates and support.
What if my menu changes all the time?
That's expected. Prices, items, extras, opening hours and holiday closures are all editable by you from the admin panel on a phone — you never need to come back to me for a menu change.
